About Dr. Thompson
Kaitlin Marie Thompson, DPM, is a foot and ankle surgeon at Orthopedic Center of Palm Beach County, with locations in Atlantis, Boynton Beach, and Wellington, Florida. She graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science from the University of Missouri before earning her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at Midwestern University’s Arizona College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Thompson completed her foot and ankle surgical residency at HCA JFK Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident and gained experience in both operative and non-operative treatment of complex foot and ankle conditions.
Dr. Thompson is passionate about delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care and has contributed extensively to podiatric research, authoring and presenting numerous studies on ankle replacement, ligament repair, diabetic limb preservation and complex reconstructive procedures. Her commitment to clinical excellence has earned her several academic and research honors throughout her career. Dr. Thompson is an active member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and is dedicated to helping patients regain mobility, reduce pain and return to the activities they enjoy.
