About Dr. Montijo

Harvey Enrique Montijo, MD, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon at the Orthopedic Center of Palm Beach County who specializes in hip and knee replacement surgery, including robotic-assisted joint replacement, as well as complex lower-extremity trauma care. With more than a decade of advanced orthopedic training and clinical experience, he is dedicated to helping patients reduce pain, restore mobility and return to the activities they enjoy.

Dr. Montijo earned his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina, and completed his orthopaedic surgery internship and residency at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. He further advanced his experience through fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery at Saint Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver, British Columbia, and an orthopaedic research fellowship at Carolinas Medical Center. His extensive research background includes numerous peer-reviewed publications, national presentations and funded research projects.
