Kevin Young is a skilled healthcare professional with a wealth of experience in nursing practice, education, and leadership. Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C), Mr. Young’s focus is patient care, education, and the promotion of overall well-being.

Mr. Young earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University. Prior to his DNP, he completed a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Health Systems Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, all at Palm Beach Atlantic University.

Mr. Young has a diverse professional background, including roles such as Nurse Practitioner in Gastroenterology/Hepatology, Interim Manager of Clinical Education at Bethesda Hospital, and as a Clinical Nurse Educator. His experiences range from clinical care to education and management, demonstrating his versatility in the healthcare setting.

As a graduate preceptor, Mr. Young has partnered with various Universities and Colleges apart of their doctoral, masters, and bachelor nursing programs. At Bethesda Hospital, he spearheaded initiatives such as overseeing new graduate RN residents, chairing the Research & Evidence-Based Practice Council, and contributing to multiple councils and committees.

Mr. Young has actively engaged in research, focusing on improving nurses' attitudes and knowledge related to recognizing deteriorating patients. He has also facilitated process improvement initiatives and presented at Baptist Health South Florida Research Conference. Beyond his professional endeavors, he is deeply involved in community service, participating in mission trips to Guatemala, Haiti, and El Salvador.

Recognized for his outstanding contributions, Mr. Young served as the Alumni Speaker for the Palm Beach Atlantic University College of Nursing Pinning Ceremony. He has been appointed to the Magnet Steering Committee for Bethesda Hospital and has received multiple Daisy Award Nominations. He is a member of the American Nurses Association and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
