BEST REPRESENTATIVE EVER
I was so fortunate to have Dr. Jeffrey Rosenfield repair my fractured left wrist. He was very compassionate and highly skilled. The combination of successful surgery and strenuous physical therapy resulted in an excellent outcome. I have already recommended Dr. Rosenfield to several people and will continue to do so.
BEST REPRESENTATIVE EVER
I want to take this opportunity to let you know of an AMAZING employee: LUIS R.
After living in Palm Beach County since 1974, I can honestly say I have “never” experienced such a DETAIL ORIENTED, ABOVE & BEYOND, TOTALLY COMITTED, MAGNIFICENT employee as Luis. And, the experience I had with Luis went on for days. He does what he says, follows through with his promises & makes UNBELIEVABLE things happen. Allow me to explain.
I am a patient of Dr. Kohn who needs an EMG test done on me to clarify what surgery he will perform on my hand. This EMG request started late December, 2016 with Dr. Graubert’s office and Luis handling the approval.
Luis immediately contacted me regarding this procedure and took charge of the situation for approval. I contacted Luis again to advise my current insurance was changing for the new year. I gave Luis my new insurance information. He assured me he would handle this quickly.
The next day, I left Luis a message advising I was switching to a third insurance company which would be United Healthcare. I advised I would get him the Policy number as soon as I hear from them. He returned my call within a few minutes to let me know he will see what he can do.
Luis’s next contact to me was with:
My approval from United Healthcare for the EMG
- My Policy number
- My Group number
- And, all pertinent information regarding the deductible, coinsurance amount, etc.
The DETAIL Luis accomplished for my needed EMG was STELLAR SERVICE. The best part was, he handled my entire situation with a:
- CARING PERSONALITY
Luis by far is the “BEST REPRESENTATIVE EVER”….

I had a 9 am appointment, was called back at 9:05 X-rays were done, saw Dr. Roth right away. I have been having foot pain for years. I was told by one podiatrist 8 years ago to lose weight and buy these $400 inserts for my shoes that insurance did not cover I left that Dr office in despair . Turns out Dr. Roth told me I have Plantars Fasciitis and I did not need any inserts, she simply gave me a simple at home stretching technique to do 3 times a day for about 2 minutes total each time. I have been doing it for a month and I feel like I have new feet. I even told my husband that sometimes I would rather learn to walk on prosthetics than deal with the pain I had daily. I also have Mortons neuroma which she was wonderful in explaining everything to me and even drew out a picture. My feet thank this Dr daily. Staff is wonderful and friendly.
A big THANK YOU for performing a crafted shoulder replacement after my accidental fall.
Dear Dr. Rosenfield and Dr. Cohn:
A big THANK YOU for performing a crafted shoulder replacement after my accidental fall.
I am at 6 months post op from my surgery and continue to do water exercise on my Rt. arm and by doing this I have increased my ROM, to the point I am playing golf using my irons.
I want to thank you both for stabilizing my arm to hit the golf ball perfectly straight down the fairway each time I swing. My friends are amazed at the accuracy of how well I hit the ball.
I remember my request to you, as I entered the operating room on the day of surgery. “Make my arm good to play golf again.” Maybe I do not have the full swing as before, but it sure feels good to pick up a club and hit the ball. Now I need to work on my putting skills.
When I come to Florida this winter I will schedule my one year follow up.

Having just visited your office with a visit with Dr. Jeff R. I must complement your organization once again with prompt efficient service. I am constantly reminded of the difference in medical practices like yours and what I encounter in South New Jersey and Philadelphia area. I appreciate the timely and efficient manner that appointments are able to be made and responded too. Hopefully I will not have to see you often, but if I do I know that scheduling will not take weeks or months to obtain.

I have visited your center several times over the last few months. I would like to let you know my experiences have been exceptional. The associates at the reception area are excellent. Dr. Clancy and his team are outstanding. They are 100% professional. Dr. Clancy has terrific bedside manners, engaging and above all else, I like and trust him Today I met with Dr. Rosenfield and his team. Once again – excellent! Dr. Rosenfield not only asked the right questions regarding my problem, but asked questions about me and my family. What a great guy!
I had an MRI done today and the gentleman that processed my payment was excellent but the superstar is your MRI technician, Lisa. She was the BEST. Made my 40 minutes unforgettable and enjoyable. What a great ambassador for your organization!!!! The health profession serves a great need and when you have doctors and nurses that are s well balanced – it makes it a pleasure. You are in the “healing” business, but more importantly – you are in the people business! You have mastered both.
I really did not know what to expect today, as my right knee was so horribly painful....
Dear Dr. Matarazzo,
I really did not know what to expect today, as my right knee was so horribly painful. Then I met you, with your great compassion, your gentleness, and u have to say your sweetness!!! Not only your wisdom, your wonderful knowledge, it made so much difference. Three other doctors have given me a series of shots. They, however never drew some liquid out, as you brilliantly did!!! Thank you so very much, for deciding to become a physician. My husband and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Just a short note to thank you and your staff for the excellent care...
Dear Dr. Jeffrey,
Just a short note to thank you and your staff for the excellent care given to me over the last seven weeks.
On my first visit, I met Vivian, who was very helpful to me. Later, I met Lisa, who put the cast on my arm, and even gave me a choice of color for the cast. A few weeks later, Henry put a flexible cast on my arm, which was a welcome relief. Ex-rays were taken by Tracy and Kristin, who treated me well and with a sense of humor. My last visit I met Rochelle, who was helpful as well.
Your help from both you and your staff was greatly appreciated, I am certain that it helped me recover from my accident quickly.
My sincere thanks to all.
First let me express my heartfelt thanks and appreciation for performing a surgical feat that I had not expected could be done...
Dear Dr. Clancy,
First let me express my heartfelt thanks and appreciation for performing a surgical feat that I had not expected could be done. You have magical hands and a heart of gold.
Now from the beginning
On our first meeting you walked into the room with a smile and demeanor that could turn a nervous frown upside down. We talked and discussed options and you proceeded to send me for a Doppler test. Upon my return to your office, you gave us results and, seeing my apprehension, suggested we think for about a month and decide. I could be wrong, but I believe maybe you wanted some thinking time too.
My next appointment was about three weeks after our last one. I went with butterflies in my stomach, nervous and scared but knowing it was decision time. You walked in the office, we talked and I knew my decision was made. Your outlook, your joking around and something in your eyes gave me the courage to go through with this surgery. So now we had a plan.
After the surgery and the x-rays, casts etc., you always gave me an uplifting feeling that all went well and was progressing nicely. I was flabbergasted at the extent of reconstruction and the amount of time it took to accomplish. You, however, said it was “a piece of cake”. You never failed to make me feel secure that this procedure would heal and be beneficial in the end.
As an aside, let’s not forget your football talks with Sergio. You also had him believing that you could perform this very hard task with a great outcome. You must have something special because Sergio is hard to convince most of the time.
Well now after so many months, we’re coming along fine. It was the right decision especially thinking about what might have been without it.
Let me finish by saying you are a rare doctor who not only has the utmost skills but, the ability to feel with and for your patients. The ability to put them at ease and believe things will be better. The accolades and plaudits you deserve are far beyond my few words. I am forever grateful.

I am writing to share an extraordinary experience my wife and I lived though last Tuesday, 3rd of June at 13:15 hrs.
After spending 3 weeks cruising the Abacos aboard our motor vessel “Nightwatch” we motored into Hope Town harbor. It had been 6 years since our last visit to the Abacos and everywere we went we fell in love all over again with all of you.
My wife Michele, is a very experienced sailor, and we have dropped anchor or moored hundreds of time. While picking up the mooring line, this lovely day, she experienced a split second distraction, and her maneuver was misjudged, resulting in her hand being trapped between the boat and the line.
We’ve all been close before.
Trapped, her out cries, filled the peaceful harbor and people nearby clamored instantly to action. Lorraine on “Scaramouch” grabbed her medical kit, her husband Bob scrambled from his engine room. Bob Carroll and his daughter visiting from Vancouver, Washington were moored at Parrot Cays and were cruising the harbor in their tender and decided to check out the distinctive “Nightwatch” and hearing the screams, they where on board in seconds, medical kit in hand. Bob is an EMT officer and Mary a nurse in Vancouver, Washington. All sprang into triage while Bob secured the vessel.
Hope Town Fire Company was on its way. With dispatch Jaime Williams, Clint Russell and Justin Noice transferred Michele to their boat and the race across the bay to Marsh Harbor began. 20-knot winds and chop, fast and remarkably dry. The volunteers protected and calmed the patient the whole way. The Marsh Harbor Ambulance stretcher was in sight, every second counted, off to Abaco Medi Centre. Dr. Latesha McIntosh and Dr. Krishna Murray went to work, secretly knowing that the ring finger would probably not be saved, they stabilized her hand and took all the steps necessary to protect her.
While I was talking to Medjet Assist, a medical evacuation service, we have had membership with for several years, I soon realized the service was WORTHLESS. The meek voice at the other end was explaining that they “really weren’t designed for emergencies” as I hung up the Medi Centre receptionist grabbed my shoulder, they had a plane for us.
Dr. Murray drove in her personal car to the airport and secured Michele in the plane. Where does this happen?
Capt’n Faron Sawyer of Cherokee Air, had us in the air while a fellow pilot on the ground arranged for an ambulance to be at the plane’s door upon arrival and communicated with US Customs in West Palm Beach requesting them to board the plane, to clear the patient, so no seconds were lost getting the patient to the hospital.
At 17:05, we were in the emergency room, of JFK hospital, in Atlantis, FL, shortly nationally recognized Orthopedic Hand surgeon specializing in microvascular surgery, Dr. Marvin Kohn walked in, dressed for surgery. He and his PA, Andres Anais worked well into the night, using micro-surgery to re-attach my wife’s entire finger, reconstructing bones and reattaching veins and nerves.
It wasn’t the miracle, I called it at the time, wiping tears from my eyes, it was dozens of Bahamians, caring, dedicated and loving volunteers and professionals, and a top rated surgeon with years of training and experience. Everyone performed at the top of his or her game.
We have made a donation to the Hope Town Volunteer Fire and Rescue in the names of, Bob and Lorraine Moorecraft, our new best friends, who cared for Michele, comforted me and took care of our vessel and our left behind, shaking, little, puppy, “Sailor”.
To all of you, Thank you, we are grateful to you all. We will be on island soon and drinks are on us. Really.
Craig and Michele Millard, Palm Beach, FL
For almost 50 of my 78 years I have limped through life, suffering great pain, because of a condition on the ball of my left foot...
Dear Doctor Clancy:
For almost 50 of my 78 years I have limped through life, suffering great pain, because of a condition on the ball of my left foot. The problem began about half a Century ago when I came to Florida from New Jersey to be best man at the wedding of a friend who was marrying a Miami girl. I developed ringworm and on my left foot as well as a wart on the ball of my left foot. The ringworm was quickly alleviated, but the residual problem was destined to plague me for many years to come.
What was originally diagnosed as a plantar’s wart by innumerable doctors was subsequently treated, to no avail, with cryosurgery, radiation, liver and bismuth injections, hypnosis, and the restructuring of toes two and three on the foot in an effort to take pressure off the ball of the foot when walking. Nothing relieved the pain. Then I learned of a renowned physician who allegedly invented a wart vaccine. I met with him. He declined to administer his discovery but instead, without benefit of access to my prior medical records, once again performed cryosurgery. Within days I developed an infection in that treated area which caused me to be on crutches for many weeks until one of the students of that famous physician, new to practice in my community, cleaned it up with antibiotics.
After I relocated to Florida, I sought the advice of an orthopedic shoe store, and for eight years thereafter, wore customized arches supposedly designed to alleviate my pain. It did not. A few years ago, out of desperation, I went to the Cleveland Clinic and saw physicians specializing in pain management and circulatory problems. Both concluded independently that I had been suffering from “complimentary echo pain syndrome, ” which in layman’s terms I think means that the “pain” is strictly between my ears.”
Then, I had the good fortune to be recommended to you by my primary physician. You took X-rays of my foot and came up with a diagnosis that had never occurred to any of the prior medical specialists whose advice I solicited. You ordered custom arches for me, fabricated in a format you believed would correct my condition. I had the arches fabricated, and I have been wearing them now for about a week. I am out of pain, I walk without a limp, and there is simply no practical way I can ever thank you sufficiently for your exceptional diagnostic skills.
The quality of my existence has been renewed, and every morning, when I place the arches in my shoes, I will remember you with deep gratitude.

Dear Dr. Levin,
Honestly I am really embarrassed that I haven’t said this sooner but I came to you in complete and utter despair with a completely shattered heel. And was told by some doctors I may never walk and definitely won’t be running again. When I first saw my X-ray I was horrified. I was going to be crippled for the rest of my life that’s really what was going through my mind. You assured me you could fix it and that with time I would walk and possible run normal. This happened 2008 and it was a miserable year for me with wheel chairs, pain meds and crutches.
Well its 2014 I am 38 years old and I’m able to run I squat everything they have to offer and my gym. I can not only walk fine and normal I have put your work to the test I am very physical have even done some MMA training at a gym. I’ve done a week at Disney lol that says it all right there.
You probably don’t hear this enough as you should but from the bottom of my heart.
I hope you are the correct person to address this letter concerning my treatments at the Orthopedic Center in Lake Worth, Florida...
Letter of appreciation
Dear Mr. Hornberger,
I hope you are the correct person to address this letter concerning my treatments at the Orthopedic Center in Lake Worth, Florida.
I have been visiting the Orthopedic Center for the past (11) months. I have been under the care of Dr. Matarazzo and the Physical Therapy department. During this time I have experience the most outstanding medical attention and care any patient could hope for and expect. My experience with Dr. Matarazzo has been incredible. He has taken such concern and time with my injury to ensure that only the best decisions are made with regards to therapy and or surgery. He is one of the best Doctors I’ve come in contact with in years.
I started Physical Therapy in January of this year. From the very beginning I was evaluated and treated with a second to none staff of professionals from the receptionist to the Physical Therapists. Valentyna Nesterova and David Adames have gone above and beyond to administer only the best in caring and delivering the type of treatment I require. Valentyna cares for her patients like no other person I’ve seen. Besides being the Physical Therapy Director she works alongside each and every PT and PTA to ensure only the best for the patients. She manages the department with attention to every detail. I drive a considerable distant to receive treatment from your center and would not consider anywhere else.
The entire staff at the Orthopedic Center deserves the highest of recognition for their excellence and professionalism. For what it’s worth I appreciate everything they have done and look forward to my continued health improvements.
I’m writing to offer my sincere thanks to you for your excellent treatment of my herniated disc...
Dear Dr. D’Ariano:
I’m writing to offer my sincere thanks to you for your excellent treatment of my herniated disc. While my surgery and recovery was a challenging process, your care made the treatment process a pleasant one. Part of my appreciation stems from the fact that when I first sought treatment for this conditi-lon I encountered doctors who appeared rather disengaged during the diagnosis process. This was compounded by two important factors: I could neither articulate my symptoms with the clarity my doctors needed me to provide nor could I conceive that my pain could be the result of a back injury when back pain was absent.
When I met with you seven weeks into my ordeal, I was sincerely hoping to meet a sincere and thoughtful surgeon. You not only explained my injury in a very comprehensible way, you took time to discuss the procedure, and most importantly, you were genuinely kind and considerate during each visit with me. Thanks to your recommendation that I seek prompt treatment, I found quick relief and have experienced a vastly improved quality of life in a relatively short amount of time. I finally can sit long enough to complete my academic reading and prepare my research article for publication. I am also pleased with the fact that I can move freely; I lead a very active professional life so mobility is critical.
In closing, I’d like to emphasize the fact that your supportive and professional manner made me confident that selecting you as my surgeon, even after only one visit, was the right choice. .
I want to thank you for making my recent back surgery the success that it clearly is...
Dear Dr. D’Ariano,
I want to thank you for making my recent back surgery the success that it clearly is, I walked outdoors for a quarter mile pain-free and I am able to sit up for fairly long periods of time. You are a very professional doctor and clearly you are on top of your game.
Thank you so much,
You could never understand how thankful I am for your skills as a Surgeon...
Dear Dr. D’Ariano,
You could never understand how thankful I am for your skills as a Surgeon. I was terrified and your worked your “magic”. Thank you doesn’t seem to be enough. I will never forget you.

Words aren’t enough to express how much our school appreciates your help. Om behalf of Gold Coast Physical Therapy and Village Academy, we can not thank you enough for your help. You have been the savior to many of our athletes and getting them back to their sport. I hope to continue sending you patients and athletes so we can continue this work relationship.

Dear Dr. Clancy
On January 15th 2013, I came to see you regarding the pain I was having in my left foot. After taking X-ray’s you explained to me in detail what was causing my pain and the procedure necessary to correct it as well as how long the recovery process would be. I left your office confident in knowing that I had made the right choice in having you do my surgery. On February 15th 2013 I had my surgery and I am extremely pleased with the results. I just want to say thank you to you and your staff for the excellent care that I received as your patient. Thank you for everything you have done.
I am a 71 year old physically active, healthy female. A combination of genetics and a failed 2006 bunionectomy had so diminished...
Dear Dr. Levin,
I am a 71 year old physically active, healthy female. A combination of genetics and a failed 2006 bunionectomy had so diminished my walking mobility that I was referred to Dr. John S Levin, DPM, for a consultation. The referring podiatrist considered Dr. Levin the most qualified orthopedic surgeon in SE Florida to perform the complicated surgery required to reconstruct (salvage) my foot.
Dr. Levin was generous with his time and thorough in his explanations of my surgical options. Using a computer screen x-ray of my foot, he marked the bone harvesting and the joint and hammer toe fusing that would be necessary to improve the function of my deformed foot.
The visual image of the changes Dr. Levin would make to the inner structure of my foot made his concise overview of my situation easy to understand. Dr. Levin answered every question regarding procedure, recovery and outcome. I was able to make an informed surgical decision. I knew what to expect and, more importantly, I knew that we were both “on the same page.” I left that interview with total confidence in Dr. Levin’s expertise and an appreciation of his outstanding past success performing similar reconstruction surgeries for other patients.
I knew from the outset that a successful recovery required my 100% co-operation and participation. I followed every instruction: no short cuts. Surgery was three months ago and is a success: Dr. Levin is pleased, and so am I. My once tangled toes are straight, the aesthetic appearance of my foot is totally improved. Yes!
I am starting to walk again, unassisted. I understand and accept that it will take a few more weeks to accomplish long distance walking. I’m fully invested in that outcome.
I am the beneficiary of the kindness and care of many individuals at the Orthopedic Center of Palm Beach County, the staff at JFK Hospital and the therapists at Palm City Physical Therapy, Inc. (where I live).
I am grateful, beyond words, that I met Dr. Levin. His good works have had a profound impact on my life: my husband and I will go dancing again.
I thank you so much for getting me in so soon.
Dear Dr. Matarazzo,
I thank you so much for getting me in so soon. Your shot in my hips flexir- stopped my awful pain and I truly appreciate it. Ryan C. is my cousin and he helped me so much to have you do it. I am very thankful it has been fine since and I have been careful.
With My Appreciation,

Dear Dr. Clancy,
There are insufficient words to express how very thankful for you. You have given me my independence and smile back. It is so strange not to experience pain in my ankle when I walk. In addition, I want you to know how very special you are. Your really care about all of us. God Bless you. See you again next year.

Dear Dr. Clancy,
It has been almost a year since Sean hurt his ankle so badly. Then, you took a look at him and fixed him up! He went to San Francisco and resumed his bicycling career/and racing last fall. He has been in many bike races and he was in an article in the San Francisco,
thought you might like to see your patient in action. Thank you so much for your skillful repair of his ankle after a life altering event.
We are truly grateful!

It is with great pleasure that I am writing to congratulate Dr. Clancy. Christy and all the staff members...
Dear Dr. Clancy & Staff
It is with great pleasure that I am writing to congratulate Dr. Clancy. Christy and all the staff members on the wonderful treatment I received over the last several months, while being treated at your facility for an open wound. I also had Melanoma removed from my toe with reconstructive surgery performed by Dr. Clancy previously and his finished product is a work of art. Although, I hope I don’t need your services again, I would certainly return if I my medical needs warranted it AND I would highly recommend Dr. Clancy and your facility to anyone who asked about it.
